Byfrost is a small desktop app for getting very large files — raw camera footage, project archives, multi-gigabyte captures — from contributors into a production bucket without a browser tab to babysit.

Uploads are resumable at the chunk level. A dropped connection, a closed laptop, or a crash costs you the current chunk, not the 25 GB behind it, and transient failures retry on their own until the transfer lands.

Contributors configure nothing. The app provisions itself on launch, so the only instruction anyone needs is drag your files in and press send.

Access

Byfrost is handed out per production rather than downloaded openly. If you were pointed here to submit footage, you should already have the app — open it and it will be configured for the right destination.
